Sunday Routine!

I think this term "Sunday Routine" is only known to Navy personnels. So how did i spent it? Reading the papers and looking through the actualy sypnosis of Transformers. Quite accurate eh, the one I put up. hahs. Cant wit to watch it this Sunday man!

Something pissed me off in the mornng. Now I understand how teachers feel when their students just so tulan-ed you. Out of concern, msged the OJT to ask him where is he. He told me no need to come cos OPS O said SR. I totally stunned when I saw the message. OJTs just 3 batches younger than me, have such stunt. All the OJTs were on baord except him.

Military is a funny place. Some of the lao jiaos still want to use the super strict regimental way of controlling and teaching the young ones. Then the middle generation do not quite believe in that , due to the many diaogues and safety issues that were raised up over the years, but somehow or rather, some of the harsh methods are still used. Come to the younger generation, those who signed ons. They totally dun have the harsh heart. What they ahve are only money making decisions and pushing of work around, feeling that the entire nation owes them a living. Some love to bully the NSFs, cos they have the cheek to say that they are poor then they sign on, and we as NSFs, are so called well off sign on. It is kinda of the worst ever excuse I ever heard from a grown up ( Maybe, they should be called overaged kids). 10th of the month , all of us get the pay. NExt thing you know, they will jio us to those Lup Sup places, go drinking, or go buy like 10 packs of cigarettes, go chiong at Zouk or whatever club. By the second week, many of them will be going around borrowing cash or like request for help in duty wise. Or some even have the cheek to ask u to "help" in duty, but can delay the p*****t for like so damn long. Keep asking them , they will just push it away and like act friendly. Bunch of losers.

Of course, there are also a few whereby, they spend alot , but they never seems to run out of cash, I have nothing to say, instead I respect, cos they have their own means to finance themselves.

This is the kinda of stuff we face in Units that are mixed with Regulars and NSfs. The vicious cycles goes one. They make use of the NSFs, they slack, they get away with it. But as they progress up, they escape cos the organisation ahve no way to filter these people out as they are bonded by a contract. Of course, these regulars then exploit the system as they know that SAF lacks of manpower, sacking is never the issue for them. So as new NSFs comes in and the old one goes off, the whole cycle comes again. Standard has been falling quite dramatically and I dun really think justifies the pay they are getting. Yes many of them complain they have alot of work to do. Ask the NSfs what is the ratio of work done.

Oh well, jsut kinda of pissed with stuffs going on the past few weeks. July have more sailing. Oh well, lets see how everything goes. For now, just gimme a break!
