No Monday Blues!
What a weekend! Spending the time at home watching the EPL and F1. Chatted with a few people on MSN. Bring back the old days when we really talk about the old times with each other. KK, everyone seems damn hyped up over ORD. LOL. I think other than being hyped up, we should all be planning what we should be doing after ORD.
F1 is only exciting with all the crashes. I mean those minor accidents, like how stupid can Adrian Stutil be?? Accelerate without looking to his left for the oncoming Nick Heidfield. Roman Grosjean became the joke of the weekend when he practicaly fell out every single day. On the first practice, he crashed out. Second practice , I think he retired. With less than 4 laps into the race, he retired.. -_-"
EPL was a blast. Fernando Torres!!! Total terror. Gerrard was cheeky. Babel was plain lucky la. But still it was a 6! But no clean sheet =( Chelsea lost... Muahah!
Getting my license will be my priority, thought of giving tuition. But kind of find it useless, cos around that time, end of year exams will be over for most students , and the major exams like the O's and A's will be ongoing. Quit vague about what i can do when I am taking driving lessons.
Hmm, Busy clearing my whole room now. 2 years worth of rubbish to clear. Quite a funny sight to see my helmet and greenies. Won't be using them for quite a long long time. Ok anyway, blog soon. Clear my stuff! Tonight , if have time, blog entry on my wisdom tooth =D

Wilberg 21st!
First and foremost, No more duties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alright, steam is let off already. But it was one hard last duty to have. Did so much more hours, but ok la, get to see the families of the Endeavour crew and midshipmen. Stood in the rain to recieve them. And when the gangway was let down, the rain stopped. HOLY!!!
Went to the wrong Bayshore. Entered Bayshore Park instead of the Bayshore -_-"
OOPs. When we reached THE BAYSHORE, quite alot of peeps were there already. Met up and chat with some of old pals. Freaking funny, did not imagine that my signing on with the navy had travelled to Jun Yu. And they are still in the midst of discussing about it. LOL. So I Just played along lor. Wilberg was in his pink and pink tie. Looks cute with the crown on his head. LOL. The function room does look grand-eur...
Yummy makan after a long walk to THE BAYSHORE, except for the ecclair, which is like super duper hard. Cake was yummy too. This is the 3rd birthday party I have attended so far, the 2nd one which I came as the minority. LOL. But it was fun to see the different groups sporadically spreaded around the room. Some of them took some time to be able to be recognised. LOL.
Photos!
In the water!!! Presents Galore!
Hmm, preparation for sailing tmr. Sian diao, but it will be my last! So cool for this upcoming weekend, I hope that my gum will reover soon after the surgery. Shawn's birthday and The Prata brakfast with the VS guys. Lets hope. Not to forget F1 Singapore Grand Prix!!!!!!!!!

Facebook is down and so am I
Alright, second last duty gone, and not a very good day at work today.
Total pissed of today. That explains why SAF is not something for me. Today's troubles are the usual politics stuff that will be going on on the outside world, but it is something that I can't stand for. Obviously, you played it in a stupid manner, but good thing for me. Screwed yourself and I am going to FO soon.
Oh well, just hope that this will be a super quiet sailing for me. Though it seems like it won't be. Pray that I will be out of the radar man. *cross fingers*
Last week have been pretty much the same as the previous week, I think the entire weekends for the month of September, I will be just doing duties and celebrating friends' brithdays =) For the record, 1st week was jenny, 2nd week was Teck Chuan, 3rd week is Wilberg! The last week still not filled up yet. LOL.
Teck Chuan was kinda of a gathering to me. Which is something I think I have my next year bdae. I was talking to Xiang Le, Ann Siong and this other vjco guy of the name Bryan. The whole topic revolved around NS and Uni. Not to forget, I came with Yung and Wei De. And very much thank you to Ann Siong for his tompang! Nice driving man! Power la you! TC was dunked into the south china sea yeah, and he displayed strong arm power man, NS trained himi real well =D Didnt really got the chance to catch up with him, maybe more when I get to NUS next year..
Duty was fine, less the prep work for sailing. So many things not done. And the just throw the whole chunk at me. It is so convenient.
"Eh you sunday duty right? Go do the powerpoint slides. Then, complete the corrections and plot the tracks too."
_T_
Regulars. What else can I descrie about them. It is kinda of sad to see that 2 out of say 15 junior regulars have the mould to become staff sergeant. And please, I cannot find a single one that have what it takes to become a warrant officer some day. Less, some specialised officer with the new MDES scheme coming up. Horrible, that is all I can say. Yeah, Singaporeans feel safe when they go for those Army Open House. Say until, they thanking us like we some warriors like that. I think they should go home nd just thank their male freinds, boyfriends, husbands and sons who are NSFs, since we formed the bulk, do the sk, forming the SKP. If there is this Sai kang Olympics, jsut send one freaking NSF contigent, I can tell you, we really going to fly the Singapore Flag Damn freaking high man.
Ok enough of complaining, lest later you all don't see me blogging anymore. LOL. Realise that I have only a few loyal readers left. Hahas, usually from the same usual links. Thank you peeps. I know I am this asshole crapper who keeps promising to blog this and that but in the end no end product. Pardon the NSFs!

What a Weekend!
Wnet to a chalet hosted by my Chief FCS of my ship. I t has a very nice sea view and it super spacious. Only meant for SAF personnel to build. We arrived there quite late, say around 8pm ++ . Only had the few of us, the usual clique. Quite a blast, enjoyed some good BBQ by Chef Han. Serious man, I think he really can be a house husband. Anw, he is taking pure chinese studies deg, and aims to be a chinese teacher in the future, so for those in the teaching world, can take notice of him eh.
Then, we started our drinking session! Can see the different sides of people. There is one that wants to gamble this and that, but cant take up the bet. Some who are hardcore gamblers canr eally memorise the cards well, and not lose at all, even as it is a friendly game some who laugh at other people who laughed at him, but in the end he himself gets laughed at ( but we kept it hush hush ), some who does not drink at the beginning, but only wait till the later part of the night , then start to join in the fun, when the rest of the people were like half sober , half drunkard state.
It was a night of Absolut Vodka Blackcurrant and Jack Daniel. It was nice man. Mixing it with Pepsi , and for the consideration of Xin Hao, we had cranberyy , apple and orange juice. LOl. Played until 3 plus when all of us start to feel that wwe are floating to the sky.
I stood as the last man, and went around to Ji Siao people taking pics. LOL. Waiting for CFCS to upload them! Slept for like only 4 hours, woke up at 8am. Kinda of mad right, totally felt like I was in sea state 7 the night before. But oh well, Woke up and went to watch Cable TV. Yeah can u believe it, the chalet has SCV Cable TV! And the aircon looks super duper cool. LG. Not forgetting the HD TV. think 42 inch?
Went to makaned brunch at Changi Village Hawker Centre. Tried the famous Chicken Cutlet hor Fun. Yum yum. And after that headed home. and 2 hours later I left my house.
Saturday came, and it was celebration for Jenny birthday. Hmm, tried ice skating for the first time. Quite an experience to finsih like one round around the rink. Can say that ice skating is a sport that I am just going to admire and not do often. LOL. Skates didnt fit me well, and i had skin abrasion. But it was quite fun! Quite surprise to see many parents bringing their children to do this sport. Quite an expensive sport leh deh.
Went to arcade for some games and met up with Jian Yao. So coincidental. Chat u with him, seems like he is planning for overseas studies. Same camp with felix somemore. LOl. Basketball points was miserable. Amos lets go shoot some hoops =D
Went for susi teh at raffles city. Super good ambience. Bad thing was the service i guess. YL's order was like some how forgotten to put into the system or something I guess. Didn't stayed out late as WY has to rush back to camp. Externalities of NS. Oh well. But super nice weekend. Cos it concluded with me going back camp the next day, rushing on a cab with a fare of 8 bucks.( Same price as the trip from my house to Kallang Leisure Park). And getting only a half day off this thursday!

Accidental Discoveries of the World
Found this article off the internet written by a guy of the name Lucas Graves:
1. Viagra
Men being treated for erectile dysfunction should salute the working stiffs of Merthyr Tydfil, the Welsh hamlet where, in 1992 trials, the gravity-defying side effects of a new angina drug first popped up. Previously, the blue-collar town was known for producing a different kind of iron.
2. LSD
Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann took the world's first acid hit in 1943, when he touched a smidge of lysergic acid diethylamide, a chemical he had researched for inducing childbirth. He later tried a bigger dose and made another discovery: the bad trip.
3. X-rays
Several 19th-century scientists toyed with the penetrating rays emitted when electrons strike a metal target. But the x-ray wasn't discovered until 1895, when German egghead Wilhelm Röntgen tried sticking various objects in front of the radiation - and saw the bones of his hand projected on a wall.
4. Penicillin
Scottish scientist Alexander Fleming was researching the flu in 1928 when he noticed that a blue-green mold had infected one of his petri dishes - and killed the staphylococcus bacteria growing in it. All hail sloppy lab work!
5. Artificial sweeteners
Speaking of botched lab jobs, three leading pseudo-sugars reached human lips only because scientists forgot to wash their hands. Cyclamate (1937) and aspartame (1965) are byproducts of medical research, and saccharin (1879) appeared during a project on coal tar derivatives. Yummy.
6. Microwave ovens
Microwave emitters (or magnetrons) powered Allied radar in WWII. The leap from detecting Nazis to nuking nachos came in 1946, after a magnetron melted a candy bar in Raytheon engineer Percy Spencer's pocket.
7. Brandy
Medieval wine merchants used to boil the H20 out of wine so their delicate cargo would keep better and take up less space at sea. Before long, some intrepid soul - our money's on a sailor - decided to bypass the reconstitution stage, and brandy was born. Pass the Courvoisier!
8. Vulcanized rubber
Rubber rots badly and smells worse, unless it's vulcanized. Ancient Mesoamericans had their own version of the process, but Charles Goodyear rediscovered it in 1839 when he unintentionally (well, at least according to most accounts) dropped a rubber-sulfur compound onto a hot stove.
9. Silly Putty
In the early 1940s, General Electric scientist James Wright was working on artificial rubber for the war effort when he mixed boric acid and silicon oil. V-J Day didn't come any sooner, but comic strip image-stretching practically became a national pastime.
10. Potato chips
Chef George Crum concocted the perfect sandwich complement in 1853 when - to spite a customer who complained that his fries were cut too thick - he sliced a potato paper-thin and fried it to a crisp. Needless to say, the diner couldn't eat just one.

Singapore Complaint Choir
National Day Celebrations are coming an end, so time to complain and dislike the nation again! LOL.. Kk joking This is a Complaint Choir from Singapore. Entertaining Video =D Of course, lyrics best reflect Singapore =D
We get fined for almost everything
Drivers won’t ‘give chance’ when you want to ‘change lane’
The indoors are cold, the outdoors are hot;
And the humid air, it wrecks my hair
Those answering machines always make you hold
Only to hang up on you
When a pregnant lady gets on the train
Everyone pretends to be asleep
I’m stuck with my parents till I’m 35
Cause I can’t apply for HDB
We don’t recycle any plastic bags
But we purify our pee
*chorus:
What’s wrong with Singapore?
Losing always makes me feel so sore
Cause if you’re not the best
Then you’re just one of the rest
My oh my Singapore
What exactly are we voting for?
What’s not expressly permitted
is prohibited
“Ooh”
When I’m hungry at the food court, I see
People ‘chope’ seats with their tissue paper
To the aunty staying upstairs:
Your laundry’s dripping on my bed sheets
Please don’t squat on the toilet seats
And don’t clip your nails on MRT
Stray cats get into noisy affairs
At night my neighbor makes weird animal sounds
People put on fake accents to sound posh
And queue up 3 hours for donuts
Will I ever live till eighty five
to collect my CPF?
*chorus
Singaporeans too kiasu! (so scared to lose)
Singaporeans too kiasi! (so scared o die)
Singaporeans too kiabor!(scared of their wives)
Maybe we’re just too stressed out! (even the kids)
“Ooh”
Old National Library was replaced by an ugly tunnel
Singaporean men can’t take independent women
People blow their nose into the swimming pool
And fall asleep on my shoulder in the train
Singapore’s national bird is the crane (the one with yellow steel girders)
Real estate agents’ leaflets clogging up my mailbox (en bloc, en bloc; en bloc, en bloc)
Why can’t we be buried when we die?
No one wants to climb Bukit Timah with me
*chorus
“Ooh”
There are not enough public holidays
My neighbor sings KTV all night
Wedding dinners never start on time
My hair is always cut shorter than I want
Channel 5 commercials are way too long
Why do men turn bad?
*At first it was to speak more mandarin
Then it was to speak proper English
What’s wrong with my powderful Singlish?
People sit down during rock concerts
We have to pay for tap water at restaurants
ERP gantries are everywhere
But I can still see traffic jams on the road
All the bus stops have tilted benches to keep you off balance
*chorus
