Alright I m back again. Fought a few crazy fires the past few days. Quite shocked by the structure of a helicopter and realise the seriousness of a on board fire. Within minutes , the whole crew 100 plus people including the helicopter crew, eeverybody could e burnt to death and sink right into the sea.
I went to the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore to learn the Basics of putting out a fire if a heli crashes onto the ship. Everything that we leartn at Civil Defence were practically thrown out. CD skills were more for fighting domestic fires. So we were throwing hoses and walking in a dark room during the first day. Nothing much. Second day came, it was supposed to be quite stressful and tough. All went well though.
In the morning, we put out a fire scene that will happen on a staircase. The fire was huge man. I won't blame those foreigners and tourists if they, for a second, thought that they have landed at the wrong airport . The smoke billowed so high into the sky that it obscured the Sun's rays. LOL. Super power.
In the afternoon, more excitement came. this time we went to another location. We almost started a forest fire. They lit up this helicopter. of course that is a training set. And then we just sprayed the fuel to the back and then had to enter the helicopter to rescue the dummies. Me and Junguang took the heavy one. Lugging it all the way to the safety point. I will just upload the pics and videos. So take a look lor. Quite an eye opener i think. Soccer tmr!
