Best Weekend Yet.

Had a nights out with the navy bros =D. Shawn , Melvin, Dom . Pity Chin Liang Cant join us. A day out specially for shawn. Dear bro going to away for 7 long mths. Commercial sailor seh. Had a in depth lesosn on how the career of a commerical nautical officer is like, while waiting for the forever late for brother but not for his gf, Mr Melvin Lee to arrive. 7 months!!! Nougats and of cos more gifts eh =D

Had a hangover. 3 jugs. my good ness for 3 peeps. lol. Woke up groggy. but still, went for a swim with Amos. Sometimes , i wonder if time is really that stretchable..We agreed on 230, then 330, then 4 pm , then the time we started swimming was 5pm. WTH! Anyway, school teachers, should be checking the toenails of school kids!!! Was swimming pass this pri sch boy, who was holding a float and doing frog kicks, he just didnt budge when I was like approcahing. Tried to siam him , but too late. One frog kick grazed the side of my body, and the searing painshot through me!! For a moment, I thought I was bleeding in the pool man. And now back at home, looking at the scar, I think part of my flesh is now floating in Tampines Swimming Pool.

Hmm, finally saw weiliang. Seems so moody about army. Hmm, tried to convince him to go command school bah. Kinda of weird actually, I as a men trying to convince people to go to command school. But anyway, yeah, told him to grab this oppurtunity. When I look back at my NS experience, if you are an A-level kid, really should just whack all out to become an officer. I mean, if you aren't those kind who can stand verbal abuse( like me...) , and you really want to prove your worth and ability, just go ahead, take up the challenge, be somebody, be a second lieutenant. =D Pay is good too, $12k in 12 mths plus another maybe $5-6k, if u know how to save and dun go boozing every weekend, helps alot in your future university studies.

Ok, long ride home. Became all so philosphical with Amos. Wodnerful weekend, enjoyed, exercised, encouraged =D

Haha, a crappy video which I think most of you have watched it at facebook already.

Zoom, reunion dinner was eh, awkward. That is what I feel. Just missed the days of home cooked food. The duck, the prawn, the roast pig, the abalone the scallop, the pink wrapping table. All this in my memories already. This year, went down to long beach restaurant just beside Burger King East Coast Park. Guess complacency sets in when you know you have attained that level of achievement. First thing that we saw in the restaurant is one indian guy as a waiter.

I know it sounds racist...until this point of time.

But the fact i want to point out is , this dude is still wearing his Temasek Polytechnic Polo T-shirt. Diao -_-" He may be a temp staff or what, but at least get him to wear something plain or at least the restaurant's own polo t-shirt. Image totally shattered.

The way the served their food was also quite horrible. Just leave on the table and walked away. Whole family just stared at the food, and was about to go find the waiter, then he walked back with some more plates and then start to distriute the food. Weird eh, I mean for a restaurant with such a reputation, and have been long in this food industry, they still having such basic errors. >_<. JUMBO FTW the next year...!

Countdown show wasn't really that nice this year. Yup yup, for the first time in 21 years, I didn't travelled to the west for any visiting on the first day. Hahas, all at Bedok and Tampines. Lol. Some of my aunts asked if I have entered NS already??? Some asked me if I have gone to the US to study??? ( The most shocking one...) Some asked me how is the life of a debt collector... lol.

Of course, the cousins, Senior ones, got promoted already, as the batch of us have already hit the magical 2, were like discussin how was it in the past. We used to play catching, take out all the toys that my grandma use to store in this huge 1960s cupboard which they still used until last year. Had all the funny toys, used to hone my dribbling skills with this small ball. Lol, played pictionary. Come cny, we use to select sweets, STUFF A HANDFUL INTO OUR POCKETS before we leave whoever's house. Played with sparklers and those POP POP. Used to pour the gun powder into one big one, then when we saw people walking past, will throw and creat a ruckass. LOL.

Come back to 2010, where WHISPER is going to be overtook by IPAD, I see my young cousins, playing with their phones, Nintendo DS Lite, all into thier own world, and do not talk to the rest of the cousins who are of the same age. Elder cousins will huddle one corner, talk about life, stocks , work, relationships, future plans.
You definitely feel super old when you are questioned about when you are getting married and when are you planning to have more kids. HAHA.

Crappy Day.

What a turn off in the morning. Planned to do so much stuff. But just because of the crazy topic on hair, pissed me so freaking badly the whole day.

I mean what is wrong with them seriously. Can't take it. I am going to NUS man, not going to like some PAP Kindergarden. Crap.

Off to sleep man, Pirates of the Caribbean wrapped the night for me.

Month of jan whizzed by!

More new pattern coming up for work. New incentives package for the temps! But I think it is quite hard to hit it man, just want my ot pay can le. $10.50. Muahah. good to hear all my team peeps hit their tiers and also the team got quite high, woot!

Just attended the first 21st birthday party for this year. Mr Melvin Lee's. Hahas, bdae man... no more boy liao, travelled all the way to city hall just to meet me after my work . so touched. actually he had some other plans de la. had some indo grilled food before heading yo his chalet. Everyone should try the indo grilled food when they are at suntec, it is yummyy and economical.(for places in the CBD).

Hahas, great catch up with shawn, wesley and chin liang. And got to know more peeps again!

Lon time since a did long and focused post, but of course not today, looking at the time left for me to go to sleep. Hahas.

Changes from ORD until now. Hmm, there aren't much actually. Maybe I am so used to the booking and out thingy every single day. Oops, going to piss to many ppl off. And the thing is that, though I am a combatant, the work I did back onbaord ship when she is in harbour is so office work kind. So more or less, comping well.

Back to civilian job, well, I never once know that I will grow up to become ah long. A legal one somemore. Hahas. Nice working environment to work with, alot of peeps of my same age and hence, more same talking points to discuss. Of course, all the permanent stuff there are older than me, but all are quite young, most are university graduates. Yeah. Of cos, realise that time management is so important, target setting can stress you out really, short forms become a new language. Sortcuts on keyboards seem like some combo keys on a PS3 controller. Empowerment becomes a great tool.

When we were young, we use to buy those billabong pencil cases, wallets. Or even those mechanical pencils, digimon devices, some stupid top that spins when u insert those jagged plastic thingy, go to those machines that eats 20cents coin and give u a digimon card. Right now, when I think of buying something, I will convert it into the number of hours I have to work before I make the purchase. Like what our parents used to nag , "money is hard to earn!". It is so true. Every penny that I earned came with my sweat, shivering, tolerance against insults heard at me, the arrogance of rich nasty ppl which comes to you like a splat of phelgm. Hard Earned.

Back to my lovely bed again. 3 days in a row, hardcore OT. plus a timbre outing with colleagues and first 21st party of the Year this saturday!!!

Hmm, boring christmas. First time spending christmas in the office, the past few happening ones, were spending it in the hospital. lol.
Monring started off with a mass present exchange gift. Really thank all my colleagues who gave me pressies, cos they are helping me with my HZ-WANTS-TO-GET-FAT program =D And thousadn of sorry again to all those who got my pressies, i spoilt your TIME-TO-LOSE-WEIGHT project.

Slept like super early in christmas eve, woke up the next morning. Went to get a haircut. Disaster, the hair that i have kept for like 8 weeks, totally, back to NS length. ARGH!

Hmm, driving icense have not reached my mailox yet... cant wait to add it into my wallet....

Ooh goaless draw. 90 mins of my time wasted. Somehow, i love watching Birmingham and West Ham play these days. Liverpool.... haiz... no words for them...

Rusell Hantz

After Richard Hatch, he is one of the most memorable and best Survivor in the history of the show. He outwitted and outplayed, but he just didnt outlast. My oh my, why didn't he win? The other 2 were totally undeserving. Mick and Natalie just wanted to reach the final 3, and just take a pot luck at a shot at the million dollars. Rusell on the other hand, took down everyone else, put it the most work, the most strategies, spent his whole lot of time screwing people up. The only thing that i dislike him, is his fetish for burning stuff and properties. That were really uncalled for. Take away the arrogance, the million dollars would have been yours.

Natalie... I am sorry. You totally didnt deserve to win it man. Seriously, like what Shambo said. Total Bullshit!

Survivor really puts Sociology, Psychology and Politics into one lump, and brings them to a whole new level. When Erik was gone, Galu lost it. Loyal was gone. When Shambo decide to join Foa Foa, it was a good move for her , bad move for Galu. Life lesson: No matter how much you hate that person, just shut up , keep it to yourself. Take them out once you are done with them, if not, tolerance will be the key.

Determination. In finding the hidden immunities, Russell, throughout the whole show, you displayed what is determination. Not the one that fainted, he was great, but not great enough. Immunity Idols are so important, and he is the only one who really put in the effort to go search for it. The rest just congratulate him. WTF !! That idol could bring you all the way to the top5, and you peeps, just sit there and watch him find it??

Say if you are in NS, your officer give you "off", he throws it into the mud pool and ask you to go find it, be it one or two days, and think the whole freaking platoon will chiong for that mad.

Survivor Samoa is one heck of a season man. Totally enjoyed it, one man show , some may say, but the one man embodied the whole spirit of the game. Exploitation, Wits and Determination.

Season 20. All Set for it man!

NS life is so much more relax

Yup that is roight. Life back in navy is so much more relax than working outside int the civilian world. Lol. For the record, i came home straight every ight, and once after I had taken my dinner, I will straight away nap onmy sofa. I am that tired man.

Singtel is pissing me off with their customer service. Whenever I hear that particular accent, it just pisses me off. Same as that at my workplace. The freaking thing is that you signed up for estmt, yet u blamed us for not sending you any statment. You lost something in your brain or what? or are u all just pushing the blame? Seriously, these cocksters. But getting to know more peeps around my workplace, which is good I think.

Big boss was good, was treated to lunch at hot pot culture. Porridge buffet, but you had the option of taking rice. Really really took alot of food. and of cos with interesting injects about workplace, simply makes you feel re-energise for work. Some people are really BHB, they like to fantasise about somthings, which it is so apparently not going to happen, nor is it existent.

Watched Avatar with the VS bros. like our monthly gathering, whereby half of us will turn up late. lol. best thing is ticket holder came late. But for the record, we just missed the movie trailers and advert, we were right on time for the movie!!!

Hmm, this movie took years to make. Of cos, the CGI was totally astonishing. I never knew blue and green was so beautiful. (kind of a retard stmt....). But anyway, yup. Movie is just sending a mesage across, I think, that is too protect the environment. If only humans have the attitude and love for the enviroment like THE PEOPLE on Pandora, Copenhagen would have been a success. Captialism is just banking on the greed of people I guess. It is a superb movie in terms of its graphic details, and the wonders of technology. The avatars do resemble the humans, kinda of amazing how the managed to do it. To those who have the passion of protecting and preserving the environment, you should all go watch. Those mad about CGI and the new milestones of technology should go watch too. Those who love alien porn... you can go try it too. As in try to make the effort to watch the movie... Looks kinda of wrong though.

*If you guys don't know what Copenhagen is, it is actually the capital of Denmark. And also, it hosted the United Nations Environmental Treaty talks, which ended in a failure. Reports are saying a minor success, to me, it is an aboslute failure. *

1 month Since ord!

Freedom has arrived for all the December guys who are going to ORD. Your long awaited day has finally arrived!

But my testimonial from the Naval Pers Hub have not. Amazing eh, the proclaimed most efficient organisation cannot even get my testimonial back to me in 1 months time. So good that they didn't even called me. And now I have to ask my fellow pal, who is going to ORD tmr to go collect it on my behalf, while he collects his. So great.

Ok, as you all can see, my blogskin has changed. had a hard time finding this kind of sin. Actually, not really, it is just how stupid of me for not making use of the google search engine.

Work has been fun. I mean like my job scope is really very different from the rest. I am really doing something for the company, as in getting things back for the company. And the outside world is totally different from what we see in NS. I mean outside, the people are really driven to work, it is not a sheltered place. Discipline might not be there, but the incentive is there, abck in the SAF as long as you just shut your mouth, avoid trouble you get promoted. But on the outside, you stirve towards your goals, put in your effort, work fast, you get your rewards.
Totally totally different.

Alright, Liverpool is doing superbly against Arsenal. Really hope Aquilani plays, if not , my obejective of watching the match is totally gone. Dirk Kuyt!

The last payday was totally crap. Hahas, kinda of expected it, as it were the usual stories told by the seniors. But I still think it is crap. You pay us half a month of recruit pay after first 2 weeks in BMT, and now you pay us like half of our current 3SG pay. Must be some upper managment's smart thinking. Totally scammed!

Anyway, Freedom has never tasted that sweet, better than the ice kachang I am having everyday.
Days ahead will be filled with job interviews, driving and most importantly catch up with alot of friends!!!

Wallay Boys will be coming back soon. I think their morale will even be down when they see pictures of Pink I/C popping out everywhere on facebook and wallets.

Room is in a total disaster. Got to pack it!
